Exceeded my expectations definitely worth every penny love my new tool

La e conectado a diferentes vehículos, y me a dado mensajes mas detallados que otras maquinas no los indicaban, solo por eso ha cumplido mis expectativas , en velocidad del software, funciones, brillo bajo la luz intensa, todo a salido excelente, no le e encontrado ninguna pega, trae un estuche acolchado para guardarla, las ecualizaciones son frecuentes, y la consulta al servicio técnico fue rapida e incluyeron al dia siguiente la actualización corrigiendo el error.

Do Not Buy - Mucar 892BT Software Bricks Itself & Customer Support is a Joke

My MUCAR tablet only used on my personal vehiecle not a mecanic shop suffered a catastrophic internal software failure. The scanner operating system corrupted itself from the inside out, locking the home screen in a developer loop throwing a "toast null" error, and permanently refusing to download vehicle software updates.

When I contacted their official technical support, it was an absolute a joke they dragged it out for a month now. I provided videos and photographic proof of their system errors. I followed every step they gave me: I accessed the hidden factory menus, I did a full system wipe, and nothing worked.

Their engineering support responded with a one-line email telling me to 'clear data or hello.' They refuse to stand behind their product, and they refuse to replace a unit that was destroyed by their own coding errors.

You will be left with an expensive pice of junk scanner. Buy something else reputable instead. MUCAR’s customer service is non-existent, and their software is fundamentally unstable."

Bonjour, Je suis un particulier,cet outil est complet, effectivement c'est un investissement de 500€. Grace à des voitures de moins en moins fiable cet outil devient indispensable et sera amorti en peu de temps. Une précaution supplémentaire avant de passer au garage evitant des factures exorbitantes. Pour ma part sur Problème d'injecteur - avec le 892BT nous avons determiné quel injecteur et défini avec exactitude la panne, pour faire court un devis 3000€ est passé à 250€ et voilà amorti en seule fois.

I've connected it to many cars. Newer cars read it better. The price is quite affordable for amateur car diagnostics and repair, and I like the compact size and fast Bluetooth operation. There are some minor issues with the software.

Ich habe das Gerät für Arbeiten rund um den Mini Cooper R53 gekauft, da ich als Hobbyschrauber tätig bin. Mir gefällt besonders, dass es lebenslange kostenlose Updates sowie eine KI-Funktionalität bietet.
Anfangs war ich etwas enttäuscht, da die AutoSearch-Funktion nur sehr wenige Steuergeräte erkannt hat und die Wartungsfunktion zur Rücksetzung des Ölservices nicht funktioniert hat – obwohl das Gerät den Vorgang als erfolgreich angezeigt hat.
Nachdem ich jedoch etwas mehr damit herumgespielt habe, habe ich festgestellt, dass viele Funktionen manuell ausgeführt werden können. Die KI liefert allerdings nur sehr wenige Antworten und Diagramme für mein Mini-Modell. Ich hoffe, dass sie mit der Zeit dazulernen wird.

This scanner feels more like a professional workshop tool than a basic reader. It arrives in a solid, protective box with everything neatly included: tablet, OBD2 dongle, charger, Ethernet cable, and instructions. Straight away, it gives off a serious bit of kit vibe rather than a budget gadget.

Once set up, it's incredibly responsive. The OBD2 dongle plugs straight into the car, connects instantly to the supplied tablet over Bluetooth, and you can run either a full system scan or a quick smart scan. The smart scan in particular is the fastest I've ever used; it whizzed through my car systems far quicker than my older scanners.

The built-in AI assistant is genuinely useful. Instead of googling fault codes, you can type them in and get instant explanations, repair suggestions, and next-step guidance. The fact it runs on an Android tablet makes it even more versatile. You can browse Chrome, check guides, and even use YouTube for repair tutorials if you want.

Performance-wise, it's spot on. I've used it to read and clear codes, run actuator tests, and view live data streams. Updates come through regularly (mine went from version 1.0.4 to 1.0.6 right after setup), adding new features like better TPMS support. Wi-Fi connectivity is solid, it runs on 5 GHz, too, and I've tethered it to my mobile hotspot without any hiccups.

The scanner also supports more advanced features: ECU coding, bi-directional testing (you can activate fans, lights, brakes directly), and 30+ service functions like oil reset, EPB, SAS calibration, and more. Coverage is wide, supporting over 140 car brands and thousands of models, including newer CAN-FD and DoIP protocols.

Overall, this is far beyond a standard code reader. It's a fast, well-built, feature-packed diagnostic tool that's perfect for DIY enthusiasts like me, but also powerful enough to hold its own in a professional setting.

Does absolutely everything that it's supposed to, a great addition to car repair.

The item does a lot of things. You can send commands to light and attenuators. I love the amount of things that you can do with it.

It's very quick- which I like, covers a lot of car functions and systems. When I went online I downloaded a lot of updates. Yes for the money and the free updates, I would seriously recommend it.
