For the price, this is an incredibly capable piece of equipment. More capable than the 400 dollar unit I bought a few years ago.
That said, the Dollarfix app is a mess. Unintuitive and poorly laid out, it feels like they are trying to combine a scan tool with social media.
Thankfully, the android store also has the Mucar app and this device is also compatible with just about any other phone app you might already have so it's really limited only to those capabilities. I don't know about iphones so if you have one of those, check first.
I would live to see a rework of the DF app to bring it more in line with normal diagnostic software.

The hardware is excellent but the GUI is not intuitive, would give it 5 stars if they made the app look like a regular touchscreen scanner and if it could be used in landscape mode. Also I have the app installed on my tablet and phone but have to log out of one to use the other which is a little bit annoying.

Only used once. Has detected more errors then my knock off temu/aliexpress diagnostic tool (it was cheaper). Biderectional comunication works good. Very convenient size, easy to carry in your pocket. Works good with dollarfix app. After detecting vehicle, app instantly downloads additional car make and model software. Have a problem with sending pdf reports to e-mail, notified this probably software error to dollarfix and they were very helpfull trying to resolve, unfortunately gas not been fixed yet. Up till today very pleased with the tool and i can live without sending report as it stays saved in your app. Great tool for a great price.

Does not provide information on certain cars like my Lotus or Rivian and other brands. IT does work on German cars like BMW, Audi, MB. Its also good for most common Japanese and Korean models. Keep updating guys and it will be the best in no time!!
