Good device as the people before me wrote. I prefer to attach pictures that made it more convenient to use. Very cheap with a 3D printer.

I have an older, cheaper model that does the basics but this one has all the bells and whistles. Plugs right in and fires right up. It pretty self explanatory but there is a manual if you need it. My old eyes said to make sure and mention the big screen. The USB charger is hidden under a cover. Other than making sure it's charged its just plug and play. Easy mode!

The Thinkscan 662 OBD2 scan tool from Thinkcar has a lot to offer for a diagnostic scanner in this price range. It comes with a lot of features with the ability to do all the necessary test functions on most modern vehicles. The scan tool has an easy to read touchscreen color display that also allows navigation with the side buttons. It includes a heavy duty data link cable for communication with vehicles. There’s a TF card slot for more storage of information. The layout in the menu is easy to navigate and it’s not difficult to access any of the necessary test functions or look up needed information. The ability to read codes is standard for most scanners, but the capability to do many vehicle systems resets are a necessity after completing maintenance tasks on a lot of vehicles today. What I like most is being able to read the live data stream, and I especially like the ability to use bilateral control. For people that are not familiar with this function I will give you an example. If you have a window that’s inoperable, you can command it to operate with the scan tool. If the scan tool can operate the window, then you know that the window motor is operating properly and the problem is elsewhere, likely it’s a switch or wiring issue. This helps narrow the diagnostic process. This affordable scan tool has a lot of capabilities at its price point. It’s definitely a very useful tool worth keeping in your toolbox.

Vor jeder Inspektion meines Golf V wollte ich die Fehlercodes auslesen. Mit diesem Gerät, das im Wesentlichen ein Android-Tablet ist, war dies ein Kinderspiel. Die Bedienung ist nahezu intuitiv und die Software ist in deutscher Sprache verfügbar. Zudem wird die Software für die jeweiligen Fahrzeugmarken regelmäßig aktualisiert.
Die Verbindung zum WLAN erfolgt kabellos. Die Verbindung zum Fahrzeug erfolgt über ein etwas starr wirkendes, aber stabiles Kabel mit ODBC-Stecker auf der einen und einem 15-poligen DIN-Stecker auf der anderen Seite.
Die Daten können auf dem Gerät analysiert oder auf einer SD-Karte gespeichert werden. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Das Diagonsegerät kommt man mit allem was man benötigt um loszulegen. Es war bei der Lieferung bereits geladen, so dass ich gleich loslegen konnte und es in meinem Audi A3 8P von 2009 ausprobiert habe. Die VIN und Automarke/modell wurden direkt automatisch erkannt und die Prüfung lief zum Glück ohne Fehlercodes durch.
Anschließend kann man sich Details so allen möglichen Sensoren anzeigen lassen - und das coolste: auch während der Fahrt inkl. Echtzeit-Diagrammen, z.B. von der gefahrenen Geschwindigkeit oder Motordrehzahl. Das hätte ich nicht erwartet das sowas möglich ist, vor allem nicht bei einem 16 Jahre alten Auto.
Nur das Kabel könnte vielleicht etwas länger sein, das ist während der Fahrt etwas unpraktisch.
Das Gehäuse ist sehr massiv und robust und sollte auch die Nutzung in einer Werkstatt gut überstehen. Bin sehr zufrieden und gebe daher volle 5 Sterne.

Amazing product. I highly recommend it for amateur repairers but the machine itself gives you professional solutions! I would give it excellent but it takes a month to arrive from Germany to Greece, I consider it excessive.
